Bren? Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work, where she holds the Huffington Foundation?Bren? Brown Endowed Chair. She is also a visiting professor of management at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
Brown has spent the last two decades researching courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers, including The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and leadership.
