Early one morning, the two of them find themselves in a neighborhood full of beautiful homes, cars, and people. The setting they find themselves in is anything but. A naked young guy lies dead in the roadway, the apparent result of a nighttime collision with a moving van. However, any fears of an unintentional death dissipate when a blood trail leads to a nearby residence.
A young woman is butchered inside. The male victim’s name and role in the horror remain unknown, but the woman’s identity raises new doubts. Alex met her while working on a complicated child custody issue, which adds to the surprise.
