Engineer-turned-litigator J. Sai Deepak works mostly as an argument attorney before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi. Sai, a mechanical engineer who attended Anna University, earned his law degree from the IIT Kharagpur Law School in 2009 and has since established himself as a litigator in civil, business, and constitutional cases.
He has participated in a number of important cases, including those involving the Marital Rape Exception in the Indian Penal Code, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Basmati Geographical Indications, and the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Sai received the Young Alumni Achiever’s Award from his alma mater, IIT Kharagpur, in 2019.
