John C. Norcross, Ph.D., ABPP, is a board-certified clinical psychologist and Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of Scranton. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University.

He is a past president of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Divisions of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy and a member of the APA’s governing Council of Representatives and Board of Educational Affairs.

Michael A. Sayette, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at the University of Pittsburgh and a professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.

He is also a member of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute’s faculty and the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for the Neural Bases of Cognition.
