Five years later, he undertook an undercover investigation using only a credit card, which resulted in ACORN’s defunding by Congress.

He started Project Veritas by distributing hidden cameras to citizen reporters and whistleblowers while imprisoned in Louisiana and confined for three years by federal prosecutors who eventually resigned for misconduct.
